Intuition

Intuition is like a muscle and it needs exercising.

It can easily be overridden by the mind and ego when our plans and desires take precedence over the natural flow of life. Our intuition connects us to that flow if we allow it. Because it doesn’t follow a structure of your own making you need to embrace the element of trust.

A good start in reconnecting with intuition is to honour the need to visit the bathroom! This may seem strange but no one thing is too small to make a difference.

Imagine… you’re a desk working on a spreadsheet and wish to complete it and mark it off your list. You delay a need to relieve yourself, just an extra couple of minutes … and when you finally surrender to the call of Nature you’re busting, and even worse you get to the loo and it’s occupied, oh and the person you wanted to speak with urgently is calling your desk phone and will be walking out the office for a long weekend by the time you get back there….

Observe when you listen to those little nudges and then the bigger one’s how life seems to be just a little easier and begins to flow with more synchronicity, comfort and less effort.

A daily centring practise of some sort will also make a big difference. It helps to counterbalance any left brain dominance and logic, and exercise the right brain which governs intuition.

Dowsing is intuition. It is commonly used to divine for water but can be applied to anything. Used discerningly it can compliment your own innate abilities and lead to a richer and more natural life.
